Hello out there!!!

Well looking at this blog, it appears I have either been super slow, or just to busy to have the time to update it. I will go with tooooo busy! Being a mom, of two boys now, has really kept me on my toes! I have taken somewhat of a break over the past 2 years to spend time being a Momma! I have loved it. In addition, I have continued to photograph the Upward Sports Program at a local church. 

So it looks like we have some catching up to do :-)

As a Welcome back to the portrait blogging world, I have chosen to post Little Miss J's latest session. Seeing how she was the last cutie I posted, it is only fitting that I start with her latest update. She is 3 1/2 yrs old now. Hard to believe how much she has changed. Before our little guy was born, Miss J use to come over to our house every day while her parents were at work. I had so much fun catching up and of course, I loved being greeted with hugs and kisses!!!

The P Brothers

This fall season seems to be the season of boys! I have photographed many families and all seem to have boys...and most are Keagan's bestest friends! This family was so much fun. The mom is so awesome, she keeps my two and her two all at the same time when I have a photoshoot..she is a saint in my books since my two alone are a handful. But I guess the 3 older boys all play together well so she can spoil our littlest one.

The "H" Family

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I was honored to take this family's pictures Thankgiving morning. We had a little misty rain but it quickly passed and I was overjoyed to not be home cooking in the kitchen!!! I think this family is quickly becoming the most photographed on my blog! That is ok, who can resist the little cuties!!

The "E" Family

I first met this family as I was taking picture in the yard of their neighbor. As I was photographing the mom and dad (the neighbor) I had to keep redoing the shot because they were laughing or looking really cheesy. Little did I know Mr. E was behind me trying to make some really funny gestures to make fun of this family sitting in the leaves in their yard. Well look who is in the leaves now!! But these guys were smart, they found a new location where the neighbor couldn't come out and taunt them in retaliation! I loved this new location. It has a small fountain with lots of rocks and beautiful leaves and trees. You can't really tell with all the leaves, but there is a small pond under all of that behind them. I plan on shooting there again. Plus the family was super nice and the kids kept me laughing!!

The P family

This is my son's best little buddy!! This family has been such a blessing to ours and often keeps our little guy at a moment's notice so that I can go out on photography sessions!! They have the most beautiful little pond and yard. Last weekend may have been the last chance to get fall pictures outdoors. We looked everywhere but most were all on the ground. Luckly their yard had a nice spot with the perfect lighting in the morning. Thanks P family, hope you like them!!

Another K Family in one weekend!!

This fall season I am getting blessed with photographing many other moms in my awesome bible study/play group. They are all very brave to put their holiday card needs in my hands! Just kidding, this is my favorite time of year to take pictures, even better to be photographing friends!!

Of course Summer needed her own close up!! She was a great sport!

The K Family in Lake Park

I love this time of year!! Fall colors and tempatures are my favorite! I was blessed to photograph this family last weekend in Lake Park. Believe it our not, this spot is behind my house and thru the woods! The kids were awesome and made my job so easy. Big brother has his work cut out for him when these girls get older. They were so adorable! I will have the rest of your session up soon!! enjoy!

The H Family in the Fall

October is bringing some beautiful fall colors in our neighborhood. I had the pleasure of photographing a fellow Photographer and her family on a trail behind our house. They were so fun to work with and easy to, since they already knew what to do!!! Here is a little sample from their session. I can't wait to finish the rest of them as this little guy was such a ham for me.

A little one is turning ONE!

I finally had the oppertunity to photograph the sweet little girl that comes over to our house to play every week! It is hard to believe she will be turning one in less than a month! Full of laughs and sass, she is sure to catch everyone's attention!! Love you little Miss J.

Fun with the R family!

This past weekend I got to photograph a really fun family at my favorite spot in Matthews, NC! They had me in stitches!! It was a fun and very "eventful" evening!!! It was a nice change of pace since I am use to pulling out the bouncy balls, squeaky noises and sneezing to get the smiles. Here is a little sample of favorites from their session.

With all the rain, heat, and humidity this week I was worried about my Thursday shoot. Thank the Lord we had perfect weather!! When I got the request to photograph these cuties and their dog, I envisioned a tiny little dog sitting in one of their laps. I even brought a cute little radio flyer wagon to put him in. Boy was I surprised when I went to the door and realized he was as big as me. YIKES!! But he was the most well behaved and obedient dog I have ever met! The kids were pretty good too!!!

5 Years and still Growing up!

We finally did it!!! After 5 years we got all kids in the SAME photo, smiling, looking at the camera, healthy, and not freezing! Well, we have done it before...just never at Christmas time!! I had so much fun trying out this new spot. Thanks for letting me experiment and have fun! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to see you grow up!! You guys continue to be very photogenic!!!

Rushing Family Sneak Peak

I had so much fun photographing the Rushing Family this weekend. The little ones did a great job!!! This is just a little sample! The rest should be up on the website this week!
